Next week, parts of the star-studded film version of Jack Kerouac's classic novel On the Road will be shot in and around Calgary. The production, which stars Viggo Mortensen, Kirsten Dunst, Kristen Stewart, Sam Riley, Terrence Howard and Steve Buscemi, will spend five days here. Blackett says the film has a Alberta-based co-producer, but would not say who it was. He did not know if any of the stars would be here for the shoot.
