Kristen Stewart To Go ‘On The Road’

20 year old actress Kristen Stewart has recently announced that she has signed to play Marylou in an upcoming film adaption of Jack Kerouac’s infamous novel ‘On The Road’. She released the information in an interview with USA Today.

Filming on the movie is set to start this summer and will also star Garrett Hedland and Sam Riley. Stewart went on to say in the interview with USA Today that ‘I am very much attatched to this movie which has been trying to be done it seems like in forever. Not that this is going to help it but I don’t really want to be bragging either. I am super excitied about it. I can’t help it. I am getting ready to play the rold of Marylou in On The Road. That is a very big deal.’

On The Road is the autobiographical work that was written by Jack Kerouac telling of the tales of him and his friends on a road trip through 1950’s America. The book has been widely recognized as one that helped spark the hippie movement and is one of the most recognized books of the 20th Century. There will be plenty of anticipation for the theatrical release of On The Road.
